Overview
About Me
My name is Jessica, 22, Brazilian, and I will be in France as a exchange student for one year. Back in Brazil I was studying architecture and in France I am specializing in heritage, conservation and cultural landscapes.
I really love talking about architecture and all the things that involves living in society.
PHILOSOPHY
Be grateful for everything you have, specially the small things. Sometimes we don't realize that even a common thing could meant the world for someone else and is a work appreciate all the things you have, everyday.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CouchSurfing is a way to meet people of other cultures and show them about yours. I think is a great experience, because sometimes visiting a new place trough the eyes of someone that was born there, or have lived there for a amount of time, can mean that you will really experiment the culture, the hidden places, the shortcuts and all that fun stuff about new locations.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a exchange student, I share a house with 3 other people and we are not aloud to have guests besides family members, and only for a couple of days. So I am mostly looking for hosts along my trips.
I find been a CS guest a lovely experience, because you can see what a person of a different culture does and how she sees the world. I think I'm the shy type of guest, but if the host likes to talk I will talk with pleasure.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am quite new to CS, only one experience until now. But it was a really nice time in Brussels and I want to do more of this.
Interests
I love getting to know new places, cities and countries. As a future architect, I love visiting old and contemporary buildings, churches, parks, museums (lots and lots of museums, please).
I love cinema, theater, learning different languages, teaching Portuguese for fun, concerts, pilates, doing aerobic, dancing, singing, picnics on the park, sunny days, dogs <3
I also love handmade things and I can knit and crochet! I have made lovely fashion items for a short time and could actually sell them for a while.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love relaxing pop and classical music. Maybe my music taste is eclectic, I'm not really picky, but I love musics with catchy chores.
For movies Titanic is my favorite since ever, but I can not refuse a scary movie night. I'am crazy about series and tv shows. Can talk all about Grey's Anatomy, Revenge, Private Practice, 2 Broke Girls, How I met your Mother, Friends, Pretty Little Liars, Awkward, Salem, Charmed, The witches of east end, Les Revenents, Reign <3
I LOVE so many great Brazilian writers such as Jorge Amado (Capitães de Area, Gabriela), Machado de Assis (Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas), Clarice Lispector (A hora da estrela). But I can hide that I love young adult novels such as Huger Games and The Maze Runner, all the books by Sarah Dessing and the list goes on.

Move all by myself to another country for a hole year <3 France
Teach, Learn, Share
