About Me

My name is Verónica and I am from Mallorca, Spain. I studied Physiotherapy in Barcelona and a master degree about Osteopathy. Also I am a comercial airline pilot, this was my biggest dream and made it to become true 😄

I lived for 6 months in London when I was 18 years old, as I wanted to improve my English. During the degree I went to do my Erasmus in Denmark for 3 months, where I lived with a danish family that I will always love them.

I started to live abroad alone very young and I loved it, so I think that's why I like traveling by myself. My first big solo travel was in 2016 when I went to South East Asia and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

I think I am quite easy-going person and full of energy for traveling and meeting different kind of places and a lot of people!

Let's meet up :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I tried Couchsurfing in 2014 when I was doing the Erasmus in Denmark. My friends and I went to Hamburg- Germany, where we found one guy from Couchsurfing that hosted us. He was amazing and we had a great time there! I will always be grateful with him.

Nowadays I don't want to stop doing it. I am very happy with all hosts I found, because I lived many different and fantastic moments I couldn't have experienced without them and this web site.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen every kind of music, but if I go out for dancing I like comercial house, bachata, sala, etc...

One book? "Es mor una vida, es trenca un amor" - Joan Pla Villar. In english; "One life dies, a love dies". I read this book when I was 14 and I always remember it because is so beautiful. The main characters were that age too, they fall in love and it ends with drama. I cried a lot :P

I am not very good remembering the names of movies, but I can say that one of my favorite movies is ‘Inglorious Basterds’.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parachuting, climbing, sailing, flying an airplane, diving...
Living and traveling alone in different countries
I saw the Norther Lights in Norway and the Blue Platon during the night in Thailand
The Namib desert.. where the ocean meets the dunes.

And of course, getting married in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, in one isolated island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea.. without no one!!!
