Hi! :)

I'm a 24-year-old medical student from Hungary. I am spending a 4-week-long internship at a hospital in Girona, Catalonia and I'm planning to take a trip with a friend of mine (also a girl) to Barcelona - and we are looking for a nice host/hostess to meet and provide us some information about the city, the country and the Catalan culture as well :).
In my freetime I love travelling, have already visited some counties - and have been there as exchange students. I love Europe and Asia, my biggest dream is to discover the most countries of these regions I can. I also love learning foreign languages and learning about foreign cultures. Their history and their cuisine - of course! In return, I'm happy to share some thoughts of my own country as well.
I would like to work az a Neurologist, in Hungary, when I finish the university. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting foreign people - this summer I'm planning to take a short trip to Barcelona (4 days) and I'm looking for an accomodation with a friend of mine.
Although I have registered for couchsurfing some years ago, I have never tried to travel like this way, this is the first time (2017). So as you can see my profile is not totally complete and I'm still have to wait for 4-6 weeks for my address to be verified.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really do love Agatha Christie's short stories.

Music? Jazz, Blues, but I enjoy pop and rock and folk as well. Maybe not Heavy Metal.

About Movies I am not very up-to-date. Currently I'm trying to catch up and watch the classics: Godfather, Scent of a woman, etc. They are pretty good! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to the US with a scholarship for 3 months at a hospital in Buffalo, NY.
It is not such a big deal or anything for other people but for Hungarian medical students it is! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching! I teach Physiology at the Medical University for 2nd-year medical students :)
