About Me

I'm a free-lance graphic designer.
A wild and free artist.
I left the hounds a long time ago.
But hey, sometimes you need to be social when you travel :D

Also, let me be clear : I have nothing against the LGBT community, but I'm not gay. Thanks guys.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I host sometimes because I would love to have the opportunity that someone would do the same for me anytime in the world.
And I have to say I'm curious to meet people of different nations. Please be a little bit original :)

Interests

Graphic Design, books, games (yeap, still a guy ! :D ), and of course travels.
I have a Youtube channel where my oldest friend and I publish funny short movies. Most of my photos come from them, I actually look more like Gollum than what's on the pics :D

And I have a 9GAG Pro account. If this doesn't explain everything, I don't know what does.

Music, Movies, and Books

Placebo (at least the five first albums), Sigur Rós, Otzeki, Kaytranada, Gidge, French79...
Mostly Rock & Electro (no commercial musics). A lot of Soundtracks, and anything else that is good.
And sorry to disappoint you but I do not listen that much to french music (it's too depressive), and especially our french crappy rap with vocoder. But I have a few good references ;)

I buy more books every year than clothes. Chuck Palahniuk, Bernard Werber, Dostoïevski, Isaac Asimov...

For movies, same as music : I don't really watch blockbusters, but sometimes I unplug my brain and I enjoy to watch some Marvels (but I still don't like super-heroes).
Dance with Wolves, 99 Fr, Mr Nobody, This is the End...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day, I woke up and had an apple.
That's it.

Oh, and Bono (U2) shook my hand with a true "bonjour".

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a teacher in an Art School, so I can share some tips on Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.

I'm also some kind of geek. Not the antisocial nerd who stays in a basement playing games with his fat fingers, but I would say video games are one of my favorite topics.

So let's combine this all together and I can show you how to make memes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A couch, a roof, a diner, a shower and my knowledge about my country or anything else.
I live in a small but cute studio, so we will sleep in the same room.
And the first night you'll spend at my home will be introduced with a beer :)

If you plan to go to nightclubs, well you are with the wrong host. I don't really like that, and I don't have the time for this. I work nearly everyday, wake up early and come back around 7:00 pm most of the time, so I really couldn't have the energy to party all night long.
It doesn't mean it's gonna be boring to be with me, I would like to be my own friend if I only could ! (Yeah, that sounds like the typical french arrogance)
