My name is Richard I am 26 years old. I travel often and enjoy all that life has to offer. I am a free soul, very compassionate and always seeking to help others find their truth.
I am a very outdoorsy person and teach yoga as a profession. Along with teaching yoga I am youth counselor, personal trainer and love to empower others. I truly love all that yoga has taught me and teach what I have learned to others and youth who want to learn. I am open and always excited to learn more. My girlfriend Madeline and I quite our jobs. Madeline leaving a cooperate job to travel for the next year as it is something we have always wanted to do.
Madeline and I have lived in a variety of countries and visited a good chunk so far but are eager to continue our exploration. In hopes of learning more about this beautiful planet we call home. We are a load of fun and easy going with lots of great skills to help anyone and everyone that we can. Along our travels we will also being participating in (WWOOF, world wide opportunists on organic farms), using work away, yoga trade and volunteering at various locations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend Madeline and I have left our jobs to travel the world for the course of a year.
We are on couch surfer in hopes to meet some amazing people who can teach us about their home countries or cities. This is a great way for us to save some money along the way. We hope to learn about our host lives and cultures first hand. We are very respectful and understand space, as well as being clean and organized.

Interests

Richard: Created a free training program for youth (middle school to high school, ages 11-18) through the City of Bellevue. Fueled by community involvement and partnership.

Madeline: Has a blackbelt in Mixed Martial Arts, has competed in college track

Rode in the summer solstice parade in Seattle

Swam across lake Washington without getting arrested.

I teach yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. I love taking others around my city and to the Mountains that I truly love and enjoy.
Madeline has a bartenders license, she loves to make others a mean drink, knows all the countries in the world ( you can honestly test her)
