I'm a mother of two who lives on the countryside in Norway, approximately 1,5 hour drive from Oslo, near the Swedish border.
I have many hobbies and interests. Some I can mention is airbrushing and redesign.
I love trying new crafts and refining the ones I already know 😊

Every year me and my family, consisting of me, my 18 year old daughter, 16 year old son and my husband - and our two dogs - attend one or two viking/medieval festivals where we all dress, sleep and eat the part 😊
We all love traveling but economics forces us to either stay on a low budget or stay at home 😐

I'm a very positive person and try to see the silver lining in most situations.
I love meeting new people and experience new things.
I loath dishonesty and cruelty.
I don't claim to know anything and I am always happy to learn new things 😊

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

A friend of mine told me about couchsurfing and had only good things to say.
So I figured I would give it a try.
I would like to open up our house to people who want to visit Norway and have a strict budget. I also would like to visit others around the world in the same manner and experience a country or just a new place in Norway from a different angle than the usual tourist 😊
I belive couchsurfing is based on mutual trust and faith in the kindness of a stranger.

A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet 😄

I have an interest in viking, medieval and American Civil War reenactment 😊
I love to cook and try new dishes. Maybe you can teach me a recipe from your country?

I am an 80's child and do like the old 80s rock bands. But most music from The Who and Pink Floyd to country, folk and newest radio pop is OK :-)

I like fantasy and sci-fi. Some action and love cartoons, animation and anime.
Titles I can list as a few pointers are; The Labyrinth, The Princess Bride, Star Wars, LotR, Despicable Me, How to train your dragon, My neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away
Tv-series;
Supernatural, Merlin, Doctor Who, Friends, Buffy, Game of Thrones

But I also like documentaries and "how to" series.

Books; LotR, The Hobbit, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter

I'm more of a fiction fantasy book lover than books on facts 😜

If you want advice on dog training or how to get a trick done I am happy to help.
If you want to try basic airbrushing, just minor stuff off curse, I can try to help with what i know (mind you, I'm not the airbrush Van Gogh yet 😉)
