Overview
About Me
I'm a master's student from the Philippines currently studying in Brandenburg, Germany for the winter semester. I am in the Environmental Management program and am doing my research on biodiversity conservation, specifically the ecological and socioeconomic impacts of illegal wildlife trade in the Philippines.
I think we have such an amazing and beautiful world, and want to dedicate my life to help protect it and the creatures that call it home. My retirement plan is to become a veterinarian and help all the animals I can! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hope that through Couchsurfing I can learn to become less fearful of the world and expand my heart and understanding of it by letting more people in. I am also excited to see new cities through the eyes of locals. So many discoveries, so many couches!
Interests
I love learning, growing, and doing so with other people. I enjoy taking walks, jumping on crunchy leaves, smelling the sea, squealing at big dogs, being surrounded by nature, and listening to stories--preferably over good food, wine, and/or coffee! My favorite things on earth are trees, dogs, elephants, and people who are helping make this world a better, more loving place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swim with giant turtles (and not disturb them by doing so, of course)!
Teach, Learn, Share
I think there is something to learn from everybody and that's what I'm here for. I am particularly eager to learn how to cook local food, cultural dances, and what communities are doing to tread more gently on this earth (and what keeps them from doing so).
As for me, I know all sorts of random things about animals, can cook decently, and am always willing to dance silly and will probably laugh at all your jokes (funny or not so funny).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will always respect your space and your lifestyle, and will be forever grateful for letting me share your company and home. Oh, and if you like, drinks (wine/ coffee/ milk/ chocolate milk?) on me! :D
