About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life by living every moment to its fullest. I'm striving to make the world a better place in my own way.

ABOUT ME

I'm studying Earth and Planetary Sciences and International Studies in Baltimore, MD right now. I've lived in Puerto Rico for most of my life, and while I miss the beautiful sights of my homeland, I'm excited to see the rest of the world and what it has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

The best way to live is by committing to family, friends, and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm passionate about traveling and seeing everything in the world, especially through the eyes of the locals that live there. I've been lucky to travel a decent amount already, and am ready to see more. I love to meet new people, and though I'm shy at first, I'll open up once I get to know people a little more.

Interests

I like sailing, dancing, learning different languages, traveling, and taking care of my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to all kinds of music, but I enjoy reggatone the most. I also like the Neighborhood and Pereza. I'm a sucker for classic Pixar and Disney movies, like Wall-E and Aladdin, but I also love other movies like Le Chien Andalou, the Lord of the Rings triology, and Star Wars. One of my favorite books is The Little Prince (which reminds me to keep a lively spirit).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was a moment last year when my friends and I decided to sail to a small island of the coast of Puerto Rico in the spur of the moment. It was in the middle of the summer, and we set out in the early morning and enjoyed the sunrise from the beginning of the day to the sunset on the beach once we arrived onto the island. The best part of the trip was when we encoutered dolphins, which amazingly swam by the side of our boat for part of the trip (something I'd only ever seen in movies).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently studying geology sciences in school, and love to share random facts and information about rocks and minerals, as well as the general beauty of the earth that surrounds us. My friends like to joke that I live under a rock, but I don't mind it too much... I love learning new things every day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like sharing my Puerto Rican culture and telling stories about all the experiences of my life. I'm thankful for the wonderful people that keep CS alive, and therefore am willing to share what I have.
