Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I never traveled much like my friends did when I was younger because of the financial reasons. Now when the school is over, the summers are spent working my boring desk job and plane or bus tickets are cheap, I find more opportunities to travel (especially during the school year).

Meeting people with similar interests is what I'm seeking the most. I enjoy talking about movies and music and if it means that I can do it while traveling, meeting new people and improving my english - it's perfect.

Intereses

For the past 8 years I've been into card flourishing and have been playing the guitar for 6. Card flourishing is this 'sport' where you do interesting stuff with cards. It's like pen spinning or juggling just done with a deck of cards.

I spend my free time watching TV shows (like Lost, Sherlock, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Community) and movies, reading a lot of comics and books, playing guitar and flourishing. Often two at once.

Música, películas y libros

I'm mostly into indie, experimental, prog rock psychedelic and folk music. I love Radiohead, John Frusciante, The Antlers, Frank Zappa, Beck, Neutral Milk Hotel, Giles Corey, Have a Nice Life, Death Grips.

I love sci-fi movies but I wouldn't say that's the genre I choose to watch more than others. I like Star Wars, Alien, Her, Whiplash, It Follows, Hot Fuzz.
A lot of movies that I like are directed by Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher, Richard Linklater and Martin Scorsese.
Been trying to get into 80s horror movies for the past few months.

My favourite books are fiction but I wouldn't say I have a favourite genre. I like the Hitchhiker's Guide series, HP, The Real Frank Zappa Book, 1984, some stuff by Stephen King, The Martian.
I enjoy comics too. My favourites include Watchmen, Neil Gaiman's Sandman, Scott Snyder's New 52 Batman, Red Son, MAUS, Daytripper, Blankets.
