Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I am couchsurfer: To meet new people, to learn from them and to see what life really looks like in the city outside the touristy stuff (classic, I know, but very true!)

When I am the host: Makes me discover my own city from a different point of view each time. And its a pleasure to share a little part of someone's trip. I had few experience of couchsurfing already through Asia and Europe and I must say every time i'm mind blown by the kindness and the generosity of my hosts. I am trying to offer the same to the travellers coming to my house. (check out the references on my roomate account - Mariane Doucet)

1. The Great Wall of China is as long as Canada from West to East.

2. Pigs are the only animals that can get sunburns

3. The Adirondack is a chain of mountains in the north of the state of New York. 46ers are people who have climbed all 46 peaks that are above 4000 feet high

4. Hermaphrotide is issued from the combinaison of the name Hermès and Aphrodite which are both gods of male and female sexuality.
