About Me

I'm Lyssa, I was born in Japan and moved to Brazil when I was 4 years old. I have a degree in Gerontology and also Technician in Nutrition & Dietetic. I love cooking specially sweet dishes.
I don't smoke and I do not have a problem with smokers. I really like to have fun time with friends, meet up new people, go to cinema, theatre and outdoors events. I am fascinated by landscapes. I also like to go to party and enjoying my life with friends.
I'm an animals lover and I miss so much my dogs that I've left in Brazil.
I'm an enthusiastic & passionate of work I've done. I'm open mind to talk about any topic (even that I don't know much about).

I decided to create an account on Couchsurfing to meet new people around the world, exchange experience, learn about differents cultures and have a good time, time that I'll keep in my mind forever.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm used to listening many sort of music, but my preferences are rock, pop and sometimes folk all depends on my mood. It could be funny, but my favorite movie is Toy Story, the best animation movie ever in my opinion and also I like movie by Quentin Tarantino and Tim Burton. I'm not very keen on read books (I prefer watch a movie), but one that I like is Animal Farm (George Orwell).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I decided to move to Ireland to study english, It was definitely the most amazing thing so far. Set off in new country and trying new challenges.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about japanese and brazilian culture, show how different are those cultures, teaching how to cook and etc. I'm really interested in knowing other cultures. I can share about what I've done in my life so far and listening incredible lives' experiences from other people as everyone has an interesting story of life to share.
