About Me

Passed my state exam in law just in October in Germany and did an internship in Buenos Aires in a law firm.
Now i will be travelling through Brasil and Colombia until my return to Germany in February.
Without trying to boast around i would consider myself or rather the people around me would probably do so as a good listener, trying to be not judgy, really active (close to ADHS sometimes maybe haha) and the expert in losing things/getting robbed.
But lets find out about one another during our time together:))

Might be a weird flex, but maybe that gives a better (or just not?! haha) a better view about myself i will just attach my instaname: Julezbke

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sharing experiences, knowledge, having a good time and getting to know a place better trough the eyes of a local person. I think CS has the chance to combine that and that's great.

Interests

I used to play football for 23 years, until i stopped half a year ago, because i wanted to have more free time and a looser timetable.
I am super passionate about speciality coffee since 5 years and with everything, which comes along like payment of the workers, quality of their home and life, transparency, quality of the final cup.
Due to that i worked the last 10 month in 2 coffee shops in Hamburg and i can tell, there was not a single day i needed to actually "work" - it was always so joyful and pleasant.
Unfortunately i didn't surf so regularly the past years, but especially in Brasil and Colombia i will try to keep up on that again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Just as with so many things, there is no black and white i guess-so it mainly depends on my mood and people around.
But most of the time, when i'm going out i'm listening to techno (especially fast like Brutalismus3000, trym...), but in my daily life i'm more into indie, indie-rock, psychedelic rock and a little bit of country influenced (the War on Drugs, Wilco, Metronomy)
Unfortunately i need to read a lot for my law studies and after that im often too tired to go on reading for "fun reasons".
Regarding movies, i like some classics just like taxi driver and in more recent time i think triangle of sadness was great.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fundraising money for Ukrainian refugees and driving everyday needs to the border and helping 9 refugees out of the border zone to Germany - the gratitude and faces by the children and their mothers will probably last forever in my heart.

Teach, Learn, Share

Coffee definitely, maybe football, but i actually do know a lot about football, but tried to stay out of the bubble since a couple of months haha.
Would like to surf better, so some shared knowledge would be more than appreciated.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't know if i got the question above wrong, but same-coffee, law (boring for me most of the time, when its not philosophic or political issues i guess - and for you probably too haha).
And just in general what makes me out, how i see things in life and what i have so far experienced worth to be shared.
I think in general, that i love it to share even hard episodes of my life with people too, who i might not know so good until now, but of whole i think, that they have a good heart and are a great company. Luckily enough that's happening a lot.
