Overview
About Me
I come from a very small rural area in Ireland and now I live in a student housing co-operative in Edinburgh. I study Spanish and Portuguese and in my spare time I play Capoeira, make music and volunteer as a youth leader. The outdoors, especially the ocean, makes me incredibly happy, as do the funny little human things like hiccups and forgetting why you came into the room in the first place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing after talking to my friend from Hungary, who has used Couchsurfing while travelling around Europe. Meeting and learning about people is one of the greatest and simplest joys in life and Couchsurfing seems to facilitate that quite well!
So far, I have hosted just a few CSers but it has always been a brilliant, fun experience and I'm still in contact with the people I hosted.
For me, Couchsurfing is not just about finding free accommodation, but a chance to make every part of your travels worthwhile, interesting and new.
