I quit my job to go back to school, but decided my place of study would be in France (through recommendation of a friend). I am traveling and seeing as much of Europe as possible before school starts in September.

I was born and grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina (USA). I have 4 brothers and 2 sisters, of which I am the 6th child.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Want to spice up my travels and get to know more people who also have a great urge for adventure. I feel I really get to know a destination when I get to know the people that live there. Love hearing people's stories of how they've gotten to where they're at today, and what's molded them along the way.......yeah I know....this just got wayyyy too deep.

Interests

I play beach volleyball when the weather permits. Rock climbing is something I've started to really get into over the last few years. I'll basically play any sport whether I've played it or not. Really love listening to and playing / singing music. No specific genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off a 20m bridge in Porto, Portugal. Some Chinese tourists that I was committing suicide lol.

I solo backpacked the Tour de Mont Blanc (TMB). 100 miles in 10 days (yes slow, but its rugged).

Had my backpack stolen by a black bear while on backpacking in western NC. I got it back and continued my trip.
