Just a small town girl, living in not so lonely of a world ;). I'm from a small fishing village in Nova Scotia, Canada (my Dad is a lobster fisherman). I studied unenployable subjects in university for way too long, then took off to teach English in South Korea for two years. I also studied in France for a year during my undergrad. I've been traveling in Asia for a couple of months after finishing my contract in Korea, and very soon I'm headed to Europe for more travels. Not really sure what I'm doing with my life next. Open to suggestions.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

One of my favorite things about travel has been meeting so many kind, interesting, amazing people from all over the world. I'd like to use couch surfing to continue to do so. In hostels, you mainly meet other travelers, but I'd like to try out couch surfing to have more opportunities to meet locals and get some more insight on the culture and things to do that I might not otherwise have. I hope to open up my couch to fellow travelers when I get home. I've experienced the kindness of strangers countless times and I'd like to pay it forward.

Books: Anything by Alice Munro, my biggest influence and inspiration in my own writing

TV shows: Mad Men, Masters of Sex
