Movie wise I love controversial documentaries like The Act of Killing, Blackfish or The Thin Blue Line. And have you read A Thousand Splendid Suns? It's amazing.

I've crossed the Atlantic (Spain to Brasil) on an 11 meter (33ft) sailing boat. Just me and my brother.
