Overview
About Me
I have an eclectic and open minded personality, I am shy but curios, travelling is my drug so when I'm on a trip I'm always more open and self-confident.
I am a cat person and definitely tea addicted. Wherever I go I collect tea bags to remember different mixtures and ways to drink it. Tea says a lot about people and countries.
My current mission:
Find my path and understand what I want from my future
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of mine suggested me this different way to approach my travels and to know people and I gladly accepted the suggestion :)
We both think it's the most fitting way to me and I want to discover if I'm right.
Interests
Reading and writing, art of all kinds, Cats, sewing, embroidery, textiles, music, theatre, chemistry, maths, travelling and cultures
Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC
I grew up with classical music and opera and I still enjoy it most, but I also like almost all kinds of music. At the moment I'm really taken by David Garrett, Lindsay Stirling, Roberto Vecchioni and Katie Melua.
BOOKS
I've read thousands :) my favorite is "the squirrell in central park are sad on monday" of K. Pancol and my criteria to choose a new book is the title since nowadays I find most of them boring. In my top list there are Harry Potter, Lord of the ring, the Chronicle of Ice and Fire, the Gem thrilogy, Pride and Pregiudice, Evelin and lots more.
MOVIES
I don't have a favourite one but I really appreciate historically accurate movies and those with a great and fitting soundrack. Two that changed me more than others are The best exotic Marigold Hotel and Into the Wild.
I'm into tv series such as Doctor Who, Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Big Bang Theory, Arrow, Flash, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived two months in China to learn the language and the culture and to do an internship. During the time I've been there I was reading "the squirrell in central park are sad on monday" for the first time and for every chapter (there are lots) something of the book happened in reality: almost like magic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to cook some italian dishes, italian language, some embroidery techniques and not so much more
I'd like to learn different cultures and languages
I can share stories from my travels if you'd like
