About Me

Actually, I don’t really like describing myself. I guess it’s a bit intimidating as I’m a bit shy. But only first! Once we start talking, I’m all laughs!
For sure I can say I’m open-minded and get along with everyone - we can talk about enlightened subjects, meditations, serious matters or if you’re from the Internet like me – talk about series, tumblr, memes and funny cats!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest, I’m all new here. But I’m finally fulfilling one of my bucket list goals - travel all around the world and meet great people. I also look forward to have guests myself and although Warsaw is not my hometown I’d love to be helpful and take care of someone who needs a host.

Interests

Music (I used to play flute and piano and love to sing. Although I’m too shy to do it in front of anybody!), movies and series (Oh, so many hours spent watching long seasons. Aww, yes.), Japanese culture, yoga, alternative medicine, healthy nutrition and preparing anything sweet.
Hitchhiking and travelling with my boyfriend: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/wiktormarczyk . In October 2015 was the beginning of me being hitchhiker and I love it already!

Music, Movies, and Books

I used to close my mind to only rock and metal music but those times have past. For the past few years my music taste have become very eclectic. I like rock, hip-hop, indie as well as metal or folk. My favourite one is still Tool and Omnia which I enjoy not only because of their music but lifestyle as well. Their kind of my inspiration and memory of good times.
When it comes to movies, there’s no way that I could decide of my no.1. Though I love watching series – Friends, Game of Thrones, Vikings, House of Cards, Fringe and so much more… If you’ve seen any of these – we’ll get along! I’m a huge fan!
I don’t have any favourite book as well but I used to read a lot. Like literally. When I was younger I’d spend my whole days just reading, nothing else. Unfortunately now I have less and less time for books. I hope I’ll be able to go back to that habit one day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Still trying to do something so amazing that I can boast about it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I don’t regard myself as the best teacher but I suppose I could try teaching you Japanese and with my boyfriend’s help (with whom I travel) it would be fun, I believe. Or just share some facts about Japanese culture or alternative medicine. I’d love to show you some good music if you’d want to!
There are so many things I’d like to learn, where should I start? I always wanted to learn some martial arts or even basic self-defense moves. Also, I used to train latin dance as a kid and I’d love to try doing it again! Anyway, if you do something extraordinary, I’d love to try it myself too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m looking forward to meet you and share some positive energy. I’ll be as helpful as I can and if you’re ready to take that risk I can make you breakfast! As I mentioned before, I’d be happy to share my knowledge and experience with you.
