About Me

KAIXO! HOLA! SALAM! HELLO! SALUT!

Half Basque and Half Moroccan.

CURRENT MISSION:
Trying to figure out this funny/crazy/giant world.

I'm already in love with places I've never been to and people I've never met (call me hopeless, not romantic)

"I don't know what's down the road, I'm just walking."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just found out about this recently and thought it was a great idea. I love meeting new people and exchanging culture and language! I'm a product of this myself with a mother from Morocco and a Basque father.

Interests

Reading (I could spend the whole day reading)
Animals (I love my dog)
Listening to music (I could spend the whole day doing that too)
Hang out with my friends (It's just that I can't get rid of them)
Scaring the crap out of my friends and family (I just love the expression on their faces when that happens)
Cooking (Why aren't there more meals a day, right?)
Taking walks (With my dog, of course)
Watching movies and TV series (Who doesn't like doing that, huh?)
LAUGHING (Isn't it healthy?)
Hanging with the locals from the places I travel to (I mean, the real thing, the inside stuff)

Music, Movies, and Books

That's way too much information. I'll tell you when we meet.
Also, too much for you to read (I'm just being merciful).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived to a car accident while traveling on a rainy day, on a shitty car with seven other people inside, on a shitty road in Senegal. REALLY, no kidding.

The most amazing part of the story is that I was on my way to the Bassari Country in Senegal to cooperate in the West African chimpanzee conservation program. Yes, I did that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some languages and how to cook some Basque, Moroccan or Spanish meals.
It would be amazing to learn your language and how to cook meals from your hometown.
Or we can just sit down with some wine or beers and share some serious laughs.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Laughter
Travel experiences and stories
Long chats at late (or early) hours about fixing the world and stuff.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Gambia, Germany, Greece, Morocco, Senegal, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
