About Me

at the moment:
Working and travelling in Western Australia.

I went on traveling at 20 cause I found out that school is not my place. I like what I was studying: Agribusiness. I like to study, I love feeling that I am learning something and making progress of myself. But being in school I felt that I was learning nothing really useful. I knew I will go traveling since I was 10 and I am absolutely proud of myself that I made the dream come true when I was 20, not 50.

I can be very talkative, especially with drinks and funny people. Well.. sometime I can also be very silent while I am hungry or I am full. Food is magic thing for me. Good food can always makes me happy. Being too hungry or too full always makes me down..

Another magic thing for me is the ocean. Since half an year worked in my own shop in Green Island, Taiwan, I love ocean. Snorkelling in the sea, chilling in the swimming pool can always make me happy too.

Through Couchsurfing, I want to make friends from all over the world. Every time after saying goodbye to hosts or friends on CS, we always wished to see each other again somewhere sometime. It sounds hard to realize, but for me it's not.

As a full time traveller, I don't know what's next so far. What to do? Work or study? I cannot travel for my whole life, I need money. Where? I don't think I will stay in Taiwan though I love my family very much. I am collecting thoughts. Every time I talk about this with people from different backgrounds, I got different inspirations. So, Tell me what you think!

It's like people planting different seeds in my mind, I irrigate them, no fertilization, just let them grow, naturally. Let's see what happen in the end.

At the moment I travel, enjoy sunset at the beaches, street food in the market, the time with new friends... and just live. Not so many expectations, just keep going, keep walking, keep writing, and keep learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The online tips for travel in a country are not enough and sometimes not really true. The better way is hearing from a local. And the best way to meet locals is on couchsurfing.

I like to see every side of a country, meeting people from different background, different jobs, and different living conditions. I like to take part in local life, seeing the real world. Like I rather riding scooter around with dirty air and dust all on my face than just staying in a luxurious resort though it always sounds good

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Quitted uni and went abroad myself at 20

2. Opened a small shop in Green Island in Taiwan, selling some souvenir and desserts. Swam in the ocean every afternoon, slept in my own shop which was a little wooden house on a hill of the island at 19

3. Went hiking for three days and camped at the highest point in Reunion island!

4. Slept in the car and took shower at the beach before I got a job in Perth, Australia, 2015

5. Roadtrip in the United Arab Emirates. Rented a car and drove around in the UAE. Slept in the car for nine days. No public free shower so I washed myself in the toilet in some shopping malls and was chased by the cleaning staffs(sorry!) But that was fun!
Met friendly camels, ran down from a high dune and fell myself into sand, soft and warm!

6. Saw the New Year fireworks shotting from the highest building in the world: Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

7. Started exploring Freediving world at 22, and will keep exploring in it!

8. Donated 2/3 of my liver to my dad due to his liver cancer. It was the biggest miracle I've ever had. After being diagnosed last stage of the cancer, we finally managed to beat it. Now he is all healthy and me too!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well.. first of all, read their profiles before requesting, and always be polite. Keep their houses clean. If my host cook for me, please let me do the dishes at least. or let me cook for you, exchange some recipes!

Giving the references is the basic thing to thank my host. I might be lazy to write the reference late xD but I never skip any!
