About Me

Hello everybody,

I am a Brazilian girl currently living in Germany. I love to cook, see new places, meet knew interesting people, write, read... To make it short, anything connected to art and meaningful experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find myself sometimes wondering why I am not travelling so much since I am now living in Europe, so I decided that Couchsurfing will help me to get to know more places and at the same time meet some nice people.

Interests

I enjoy writing because it is one of the ways I use to let all my emotions out. I work mostly on poetry and short stories but I also try to write romances.

Also, I have been part of a theater group since 13 years old and it makes me feel incredibly happy to be able to perform and feel like I can be someone else for some time. Sadly, since I arrived in Germany I haven´t gotten the chance to keep following this passion, but I will definitely come back to it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band at the moment is Keane. Just because their songs were part of a new chapter in my life and each time I hear it, it reminds me of my old self excited to start this new journey.

I don´t like to labor favorite books because I change my mind very often about this subject. After all, a book can mean different things to a person depending on their experiences, mood and simply... timing.
But I enjoy reading philosophy and narratives in general.
Zen and the art of Motorcycle Maintenance is a book I really love.

As far as movie... I would say Moulin Rouge, the soundtrack makes me happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to drop Uni in Brasil and live in a different Continent with no concrete plan and very spontaneously, glad it worked out

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Portuguese (from Brazil), English (American) and also some German.

I would love to learn new recipes and cooking tips.
