I can describe myself as a smiling person, kind, generous, spontaneous, adventurer. I'm a sunset lover :)
Of course, like probably every couch surfer, I love to travel and I buy a new plane ticket each time I saved enough money.

I used to work as an optometrist but I decided to put my career on hold in 2015 when I decided I needed to become fluent in English (for a possibly career evolution). So I moved to the US (I stayed there a year and a half), got an au pair job and spent the best time of my life. My thirst for traveling definitely started at this period. Now that time is over, I'm (almost) fluent in English (with a heavy French accent which is "lovely" according to Americans ;) ) I'm stil working on my career evolution but I make sure to take some time off to keep traveling!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Using Couchsurfing is for me a win win! It allows me to keep travelling in many places at the same time I get to know people from where I visit. Can't be a better culture exchange. And best of all, I already met awesome people thanks to couchsurfing, some became good friends and we are always trying to see each other while in the same city!

I already used Couchsurfing. Unfortunately, it was always with friends who booked for me. So they got nice reviews, not me :( But I’m still in touch with some of my previous hosts and if I ask them, they would be willing to talk about my couchsurfing experience with them.

Classic, but I love to discover new places, meet new people and exchange with them.
I'm always up for outdoor activities. I try to do some sport (jogging, hiking, ski, mountain bike, I used to be a soccer player) I always enjoy going out as well as I like to just chill :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

As I wrote above, I spent a year and a half in the US. I got the opportunity to travel almost everywhere across the country, more than I ever did in France!
But one of my most extraordinary adventure was my last road trip there. I spent 3 weeks driving through the west coast, discovering the major cities and national parks. I ended this road trip with a supplementary week in Hawaii. Best memories of my life so far :)

Usually, what I like to do to thank my host(s) when I travel in a foreign country, it's to make French crepes. Always a success, nobody has been disappointed so far :)
