Overview
About Me
Born in Germany and having lived in quite some places in my life already (especially my most beloved Argentina and Japan) I am always in search of new adventures, opportunities and especially friends all around the world.
At the moment I am living and working in Innsbruck.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to get to know people from places all around the world because during all my travels so far the best experiences were the ones I made with locals, most of the time.
I think it is a great opportunity to meet local people and I really enjoy helping out and making the experience in my city as pleasant as possible to others.
Interests
I love to do sports, especially (road) biking, running and hiking, as some activity in the nature helps me relax and gain new energy.
Another thing I really love to do is taking photos. Photos can show so many different things and tell so many stories about the world...
And, of course, I really really love to travel around the world. I've been to many places in Europe, South America, Asia, and even traveled all across Russia by train, and traveling has always given me something no other activity in the world could ever give me. It gives me freedom and brings me together with so many nice people from different cultures. No matter where I've been so far I've always met a lot of friendly and welcoming people. I think travelling makes our perspectives change a lot and helps us appreciate the beauty of our planet and the interesting aspects of different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to a very broad range of music, which makes it very hard to decide on favorites.
Concerning movies, I really like French productions due to their special sense of humor, still combined with a lot of sincerity. I especially love "Intouchables".
Well, I guess I should read more books (I loved to when I was younger...), but the best book I've read lately was "Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked along the rail tracks at lake Baikal in winter
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll always be happy to try to help wherever I can.
I love to learn and share languages, so if you're into learning some German, I'm ready to help you out.
I also really like to cook, especially with friends, so if you've got some time, I'd be more than happy to cook together. I'm not picky about food, so the choice on what to cook can be yours. :-)
Apart from that, I can just be a friend whom you can have a sip of beer, wine, or whichever other beverage with or talk to about anything if you need advice.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Nice and long conversations about almost anything. I like talking to people and listening to their stories.
Cooking, as I really like to cook with friends! :-)
