I am a PhD student at Texas A&M University studying Health Education. I am originally from Kenya and have lived in Florida, New York City, Arkansas and now Texas! I love to travel and consider myself a global citizen. My favorite part of traveling is meeting amazing people and constantly learning how incredibly connected the world is.

I moved to Little Rock, Arkansas for a fellowship when I was 24. I had no connections in the city and the experience literally made me discover myself and the beauty of genuine human connections.
