Taking the summer off before I head back to college. I grew up in California and have been living in Alaska for 3 years now. Trying to find the next place to live, hoping to get a couple good ideas on this trip.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

About to start a cross country trip trying to hike/jog through our national parks with some beach front stops in mind. I have not used this app before and I hope to meet cool people with some local insight.

Interests

I love games of all sorts (card, board, sports, etc). I really want to try and catch as much live entertainment on my trip as possible (local bands are the best).

I like to switch up what I listen to and read. My three favorite genres are fiction, history, and horror. I am a pretty big fan of John Steinbeck, Howard Zinn, and Stephen King.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's a hard one. I saved my roommates cat out of a tree last week. Felt pretty amazing at the time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love receiving the opportunity to teach about any of my past experiences/knowledge (I feel confident that I can help most people learn English or Math that isn't incredibly complex). I am up to learn just about anything. I have a car if you need transportation or help moving something. I also have my time, I am not awful with my hands and can usually take a pretty good swing at fixing things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you need help with chores, I would love to help. If you know a good place to eat, your meals on me. I got a couple good stories I am always up to share. Not against the idea of grabbing a drink either.
