Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm a single woman from Canada, grew up in Toronto moved to the country three years ago. I'm traveling in Europe for the next couple of months. I'm retired now but I worked as a magazine and newspaper photographer since age twenty five. Wonderful work. More recently I went back to school, studied art therapy and psychotherapy and had a small practice for the past twelve years.
I'm almost vegetarian. I sometimes eat chicken, fish and meat.
I love meeting new people and hearing about their lives.
I came to visit my sister in France, went on a bike trip with a friend on the Canal du Midi and decided to keep traveling and hiking. I have a lot of energy and love being active outdoors.
I speak english and try to speak french but I could use some help!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've couch surfed a couple of times and it was such a great experience. The friend I biked with in the south of France made the connections. I just joined. The hosts we stayed with were wonderful, interesting people that I got to know. I'd love to meet more people through couch surfing. I plan to host when I get home.
