Hi!
I'm a PhD Student at the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE) studying water circulation and mixing at the Amazon. I grew up in Ribeirão Preto, in the state of São Paulo, went to college in São Carlos and currently live in São José dos Campos (also state of São Paulo).
I am a very hardworking person, organized, communicative and agitated so I love any activity that disconnect me a bit of the world and show me something beautiful from time to time.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm here because I'm going to Northridge, California in January to be a tutor of a course being offered by CSUN. I need a place to stay for 3 weeks, but I don't have money to stay in a hotel and I would really enjoy getting to know local people.

兴趣

I love hiking, camping, beaches, go to the middle of the Amazon ...
I have plenty of energy so I swim, play volleyball, track... But I also need my quiet moments so I do yoga, meditate, make crochet, embroidery, paint (any handmade thing actually) and read. I just love Neruda!
I always have a soundtrack playing in my mind, some rock, Brazilian music, samba and folk music and I did drama classes during my teenage years, so I never miss an opportunity to attend a good play. Cultural activities enchant me!

I stayed 2 months in the Amazon of which 18 days were boarded in the middle of the Amazon River.
