About Me

Hey! I'm living in Hannover and studying German in order to apply for a university. Education is really important to me, but not as important as to be a generally nice human being, that's basically what I'm aiming for in life. I'm pretty chill about travelling, but the thing I like the most is to visit small places that only locals know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's convenient, cheap and lets me get to know the city I'm visiting on different levels and not only as a tourist.

Interests

I love art and design, so much that I'm thinking of making it my profession. I know how to draw and love doing it, although don't expect me to draw photo-realistically... yet. What I try to focus the most on is to transmit a feeling to the spectator, put them in the shoes of the character or put them in another world. Of course, I'm still working on the how but I have a goal.
Also, I absolutely love animals and pets, I have my pet called Amelie, if you want to know what kind of animal it is,
then ask me, I bet it's not what you think ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Latin American indie, especially Ecuadorian indie. I'm also open for any kind of old music and of course German rock.
When talking about movies, I love documentaries and horror movies. Also if you have any recommendations for off the wall, weird, artsy movies, I'm all ears.
TBH I'm not that big of a reader but I could always finish a book if it catches my attention, just don't ask me how long it would take me hahaha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in a refugee camp for three months, in there I got to know so many strong people, among them I found:
- The girl with the most beautiful smile.
- A homeless woman who found happiness.
- An Italian chef who got divorced in order to work at the refugee camp.
- Robin Hood if he was a middle age cleptomaniac guy.
- An AIDS survivor.

Teach, Learn, Share

Need some cooking advice? Nice, because I got a lot of it and would love to pass it on!
Want some design and art advice? Cool, I went to university for that for like a year and a half, I don't know what I'm talking about but we can discuss!
Need some support? No matter what it is, I can listen.
Do you already know all that stuff? Can you teach me?
