Currently I live in between Kaunas and Vilnius, have a few projects that I am working on and could host (basicly it would be just providing a bed) only if I already hosted you.

I am a 28 years old girl, who found amazingness in travelling and couchsurfing few years ago. I like travel, do pole sport, ride a bike, roller skates, host travellers, show around Kaunas, play board games (Ticket to Ride, Power Grid, Carcassonne, etc.)
I like trying new things. So I guess after you read this, I tried something new and could add it to the list about me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Main reason why I travel and use couchsurfing is that I want to feel local culture, to see local lifestyle, what habbits do local people have and what are the things they enjoy. I do not care about visiting touristic objects. I care about moments spent communicating with people, enjoying the company. Couchsurfing is the best way to do that.
To tell the reason why I host people we have to go back to 2012. I traveled to Italy, Caliary with my friends. We were hosted by amazing person, who lived in the boat. We spend night at boat and had a great tour around the city. He told us that travelling is not about seeing touristic objects or sleeping in hostels. Travelling is about meeting new people and getting to know the culture. He could not travel at that time we were at his place, but he said that he travels, because he meets new people, can communicate with them and feel the culture of the place travellers had come. He made such huge impression for me, that I desided to start couchsurfing hosting when I will start to live separately form my parent. So did I. It it the best thing happended in my life and I will never stop doing that. All the amazing people I met and I learned many things from them. It is one of the best things, that happened for me in my life.

Listen to Rock, Metal music.
Do not often watch movies, but when I do, they have to be recommended or highly evaluated.
Right now I am on self motivation books, but trying not to forget to read classical literature too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess becoming couchsurfing host is one of these things.
Changing my carrer path to IT.
Also flight with paraglide, because I am afraid of hight.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you modern architecture (art deco) objects in Kaunas. I can share my casual lifestyle in Kaunas city. I usually include my guests in my daily activities. It is possible that you will go to the concert, meet with my friends, eat or drink at some cool place. Sometimes I stay at home or do nothing special, so we can have a calm evening together with interesting conversations or I could tell you cool places to go.
