About Me

I'm 26 yo. Curious since childhood, music, dreams, talking to people, photography and experimenting with reality were all my first hobbies. After school I studied Business and Administration but fter the first year I realised that wasn't my way. Studied Journalism for 4 years and once I finished my courses I decided to travel the world. Lived in Australia for 15 months, then Thailand, Indonesia and after 6 months I came back to Chile to see my family. I just could hold there for 2 months, took a flight to Cuba and after two weeks I took a plane and landed here in NZ where I have a Working Visa for one year. My guitar, a camera and two lenses, a laptop and my backpack is all I'm taking with me. The rest is only hope, happiness and good vibes to share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing cause traveling is expensive anda after two years on the road you learn to make the trip more self-sustaining, as life should be. You learn to be generous, you learn to ask and you manage to understand the benefits of sharing the journey of life. That's why I'm on Couchsurfing. I have lived and stayed with local people, I've lived in communities and I've teached music to locals in Thailand, koh Tao, but I've never used an already existing system to do it.

Interests

I love to do music, to write, to dive even though I spent big part of my savings diving in Thailand so maybe it will have to wait a bit until I save more money.
Photography is also a must do in my daily schedule.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite music no, I love all music, it's just about understanding it. It is not that you don't like music, it is that you don't understand it. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer grabbed me insanely, I couldn't stop reading it till I finished it.
And movies there are a lot I loved, Fight Club, Jodorowski's Dune the documentary, The Wolf of Wall Street, Dallas Buyers Club, Pulp Fiction, and an endless list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving in Easter Island in Motu Island was insane. It was my first dive ever, the visibility was about 25 meters, warm water, a powerful and thunderous silence, life everywhere and my boady floating there for the first time was absolutely divine.
My first timme doing Sky diving in Australia.
And the best memory I have is in Thailand in a dark night in Koh Tao I saved a girl's life that was with his boyfriend both drunk as fuck and stoned and he was trying to give first aid but too drunk and I helped her, I stayed tehre for 7 minutes giving mouth breath until she puked some water and starte to brathe again. The day after they both went to my hostel to thank me for that and I think I have never felt so useful to the world as that time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn everything, more languages as French and German. I would love to keep teaching guitar lessons, share what I know and also what I dont, share my doubts about life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share happiness, my music, all my knowledge and wisdom, I can share the little money I have, but all I have I share it with those around me. I can teach guitar lessons, spanish and photography knowledge.
