Hi
I'm Jeanne. I'm 23 years old and from the city of Aarhus, Denmark, where I am studying my bachelor’s degree in social work.

After graduating high school in 2012 I felt a need to take a few gap years in order to grow as an individual before continuing my future studies - so after doing military service back in Denmark I traveled Australia and Asia, on my own, for four months only returning to Denmark to save up enough money to go abroad once again. This time exploring other parts of Asia and New Zealand. I guess I ended up as one of those people who can’t stop thinking about where to go next...

Anyway, now I’m a student and spend my time reading about laws, psychology, mental disorders and other very interesting stuff. ;) I also work as a stewardess on a ferry - Still dreaming about travelling the world though!

So, in september I thought, why not combine my studies with travelling - and so i did. I'm currently doing my practice placement in Vancouver, Canada and will not be returning before mid July 👏🏼

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in the authentic moments of traveling. I love to meet new people - learning about different cultures and ways of life and I think couchsurfing is a good opportunity to approach that.
