About Me

I'm from Chile, currently living by my self. I study film and television, which is really interesting and fun at times, and very stressing when you're not organized. Anyway, I'm really into watching movies (specially animation movies, which are my total passion), go out kicking some asses on the dance floor, painting, drawing and, of course, traveling. I've traveled all my country up and down, still I can't get enough of it. I'm the type of person who always finds an excuse and money to travel.
Sometimes I'm really extroverted and then I become an introvert, and need space and stuff. I'm always making jokes, I love sharing cooking tips with people (as much as I enjoy cooking for people) and also I'm a really talkative person. I can spend hours talking about stuff that happened to me long ago or just yesterday, or maybe telling a fun story that happened to one of my friends.
I'm usually an energetic person, but when I'm home I prefer to rest and be all lazy and cozy. I won't say I'm "normal" just because I think anyone has at least a minimum amount of crazyness in them :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really miss the sensation of meeting new people, of feeling that exchange of culture, of ways of doing stuff. It's awesome to get to know people from outside my typical circle, get tips for different cooking, sharing a good conversation, hang out, and that sort of things.
I also want to make contacts in case I want to travel outside my country, or even inside it, so I can go see the places with the help of the people that lives there.

Interests

Watching movies (animation, comedy, romance, action, sci-fi), painting (oil, watercolor, pencil), drawing, traveling (anywhere, anytime), dancing (just dance, electronic, pop, reggaeton, and whatever the dj feels like, I just move it :D), watching anime series, netflix or the Simpsons. I also like looking at the stars in some lost point of the city (luckily in total darkness), writing, talking about zodiac signs, tarot and that mystical stuff (which I'm very addicted to haha). I don't know, I have a lot of interests, I cannot remember what else I do often, but well, you'll get to know me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to pop/rock/electronic music. I'm a fan (with little shame) of Tokio Hotel. Other than that, I really like the kings and queens of music, like Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, and such (not Madonna, sorry).
I'm into classical music, opera (which I sing), grunge, metal, and even screamo stuff. Hahaha. Pretty aleatory.
I also like latin music to dance to, I'm a fan of samba though I still can't dance it very well. I'm really into reggaeton and twerking, I think it's fun :)
In movies, I'm a fan of V for Vendetta, LOTR, all Disney movies, a lot of Dreamworks movies, comedies, sci- fi (specially from the Wachowski brothers), Tim Burton's stuff. Don't know, I'm into almost all kinds of commercial movies, and a bit of independent ones, which are more heavy matters. What I don't like is the oldest movies, black and white, just because I've got to see a lot of them for my career and it can get really boring.
For books, I prefer stuff from fantasy like George R.R. Martin, Tolkien and Patrick Rothfuss. Lately, I've been reading stuff from Ursula K. Le Guin, which is really awesome in terms of development of worlds. I also have a taste for romantic stuff, and latin american writers, such as Gabriel García Marquez, Pedro Lemebel, Borges and also poetry, specially from Cesar Vallejos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, in school, I played the role of Christine for the Phantom of the Opera.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach singing, dancing, drawing, film making, photography, astrology (different from astronomy).
I can give tips in writing, cooking, decorating, make-up.
I can share recipes from my country, a good cup of coffee/wine/tea and a conversation. :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help with chores, cook delicious meals from my country, draw a portrait of the family (cartoon style or more realistic), sing songs acapella or accompanied. I guess the rest depends on what the host needs, I'm a multitask person :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, France, Mexico, Netherlands, Paraguay, United Kingdom
