I actually do know know what to write here, because the paragraphs below already tell so much about me. What might be missing is:
- my friends think i am crazy because you will never see me in a bad mood!
- i once was late at any possible occasion. I think i got it now and am mostly in time

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling but as i am student, i do not have much money to spend. To be able to travel much, i therefore need to somehow make traveling cheaper. Here comes Couchsurfing.
What i love about this, is that i am the type of person that likes to get in touch with the culture of every place i am staying. In this context i am highly interested in meeting people who live in the cities I visit. They can tell so much about culture - via their stories, the way they dress, how they live, their style of living.
In Hotels people are from all places but the city you are visiting. The same is true for hostels, but here you can at least share travellers-experience which i also value high. But this again is not what i seek. As my experience is so far it is hard to run into the right kind of people on the street who are openminded, speek your language and have time to show around and have a conversation - at best all at once.
I have the hope, that via Couchsurfing I will find such people in an easy way.
Although do I hope that I can be host to others and show them my city and my culture!

Interests

Most of all i am interested in community! That's why I love being with my family and friends. On summer days we spend whole afternoons in our garden eating cake, or nights doing barbecues. Some friends of mine tend to just ring the bell and come in as i am at home to drink some beer or play board games - without any prediction. But i actually enjoy this!
In the time that's left I play trumpet and piano and am active in a youth group where I have a leading position.
If there is still any time left, i might go to the movies or to a bar/dancing. Although last of this would actually rather take place at my home with friends visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music is sth that has always been hard for me to tell. I cannot specify the music i like most, because it can be anything. What i can say is that i love intelligent music which has some kind of depth in it that goes beyond that stuff the play in the radio. .
Movies ... I like watching series like NCIS, GoT or Fringe, german Tatort is great too. Movies Star Wars, Lord of The Rings or HP were also great. I like movies with action, but it would be nice if they had a storyline that's not totally covered within 3 sentences ;)
Books: I love reading but dont find to much time for it. As you can watch movies with friends, reading books is stuff you usually do alone - meaning evenings or holidays to me. Books Enjoyed most were for example Harry Potter ( best thing about that was I think like for many guys of my age, that I used to be about the same age as Harry ), "The Shadow of The Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and the following two books, and finally the King Killer Chrinicles by Patrick Rothfuss. Because i am waiting for the third book to appear i spend my time on reading the Song of Ice and Fire until that.
