Hello! I'm Rachel, I'm 18 and seeking some adventure, and culture before I embark on my undergrad next year at McGill University. I love art, history, good food, good teas, big cities and museums.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm backpacking through western and parts of eastern Europe from February until June 2016! I'd love to meet new people on my travels that are able to show me the real roots of their cities. Evidently there's no escaping the fact that I will be a tourist but I'd like to live like a local as much as possible! Even if you're not really into socializing I'm also good at keeping to myself and I'm really just looking for somewhere to sleep.

In addition to my travels I'd also love to pay forward the couch surfing movement and offer to host someone else in my home!

I love art, music, culture, food, museums, history and language.
I'm very interested in art, history and the origins of the places in the world that surrounds us.
Despite my interest in art history my art taste is very much modern and abstract - the weirder the better.
I'm very fascinated with different cultures and I like to experience as much of other peoples lives as possible.
I also really like exploring the underground scene in new places I think it gives you the best perspective of a place.

I'm most proud of the fact that I'm going on this trip all by myself!
Other than that I also play competitive baseball and my team ranked the to in the eastern half of Canada!!

I can share a positive attitude, a good listening ear, some music selections and some pretty good eggs!

If you offer me your home I will be pretty at your disposal. Do your grocery shopping, walk your dog, fold your laundry, pretend to be your daughter to keep that pesky man that has a crush on you away ect.
