About Me

'Accept the unexpected and take advantage of it rather than complaining because things didn't happen as I planned'

What can I say about myself? I think that I’m a positive, optimistic and enjoying life person. Some my friends say that I am ‘hyperactive’ and cannot sit at one place doing nothing for a longer time and I guess they are right:P I am also the ‘curious’ type. I love meeting new people, exploring new places, getting know different cultures and traditions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've joined Couchsurfing few years ago having a common profile with a friend of mine, but since our travelling routes were more the past then present and future times, I have decided to built my own travelling history in a new place.
Sooo here I am!:)

Interests

When it comes to travel, I focus mainly on meeting local people, getting to know their culture, traditions and habbits, rather then typical sightseeing with guidebook. But if it's possible to combine both - why not? Unique places, interesting constructions, street art, monuments of nature - all that can only widen the perspective:)

Apart from travelling, I love music, good movies and lately I started my journey with photography. In my free time, to relax and express myself - I do handmade art: jewellery, postcards, collages and so one.

Music, Movies, and Books

Generally I listen to many kinds of music, often it depends on my mood. So once you check my playlist, you can be surprised that it contains both classical and rock songs, but generally I am fond of indie or alternative sounds.

When it comes to books, I'm not a typical bookworm, but during long, cold evening, sitting under the blanket with a good book and cup of hot tea - I imply love it! One of my 'tops' are: Norwegian Wood, South of the Border, West of the Sun, The silence of the Lambs or Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. If you are interested, I can borrow you any of those books:)

Last but not least - movies! I can talk about them for hours! My favourite director is Pedro Almodovar, I know that his movies are weird but I really love them. I think that everybody should watch films like: Into the wild, Stay, The Shawshank Redemption, Intouchables, Requiem for a Dream, Beautiful Mind, Girl interrupted, Shutter island, Quentin Tarantino's masterpieces aaaan millions of others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to choose the most amazing thing that stuck in my memory. I've seen so many amazing places and done so many exciting stuff in my life... but I am sure that 'the best' is still ahead! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can turn you on to modern art, alternative and different kinds of music, and what is more I can share my positive attitude towards everyday life;)
