About Me
Будем рады помочь людям, которым пришлось покинуть Украину из-за войны. Можем предложить два спальных места в нашей квартире-студии на пару дней. / We're offering a couch for those who had to flee Ukraine. There're two places in a shared room for a couple of days
UPD: we can offer a place for only one guest now as we don't have the second mattress

Hi! I'm Ann (wearing glasses) and my wife's name is Lisa. We live and study in the beautiful city of Prague, I'm doing my master's degree in musicology and Lisa is getting hers in Latin American Studies. We teach languages part-time.
We're open-minded and easy-going, we love books, films, music (from Gregorian chant to pop), we really enjoy hiking and have hiked pretty much across the Czech Republic and we do love travelling!
We were born in Russia, but I left the country when I was 18 to live a free live, to be who I am and to get good education. Lisa joined me as soon as it was possible. We're more than happy in Prague excited about all the possibilities we now have! So, we try to use every possibility to discover the world
We're based in the very centre of Prague, in a small but cosy flat and are happy to host when possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm sure that's an excellent way to help each other and — therefore — to wipe out all the borders!

Music, Movies, and Books
music: Mylène Farmer, Garmarna, classics, folk, medieval
movies: without any doubt Bertolucci's "The Dreamers" — one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Extremely touching and unbelievably intelligent.
"Les Choristes" for its artistic perfection.
"Cracks". Once more for Eva Green and the breath-taking story.
books: the more you read the more difficult it is to distinguish at least some of the favourites. If talking about poetry, my soul definitely belongs to Marina Tsvetayeva. J'adore Guillaume Apollinaire aussi.
Murakami, Amelie Nothomb, Anna Gavalda, Peres-Reverte — and so far, and so far, and oh classics of course. And of particular things — "Flying over a coocoo's nest".
I'm also a lifelong Tolkien fan
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finding a picture of the ruins of an ancient chapel in a pack of chips and hitchhiking all over Belarus to come and see it with my own eyes.
Teach, Learn, Share
Experience, that's why we travel. We're always dreaming of some destination but years after visiting it we remember amazing people we met more than places themselves. It's out privilege to listen to your stories and have you as the most valuable part of our journeys
We could teach you some Czech or Russian if you'd love to
