Hello Couchsurfers!

My name is Karin. I would characterise myself as an open-minded, curious, kind person who likes asking questions, meeting new people, getting know new cultures and what is the most important, enjoying life every day on maximum :) My hobbies are sport (all kind of typical summer and also winter sports), dance (I ve danced since I was 6 years old- slovak folklor dances), reading books, watching movies, nature, hiking, traveling, hanging out with friends,..

Story from Slovakia (Home sweet Home): I am from Slovakia (small country in the middle of Europe- please, dont call it eastern Europe :D ), where I grew up. Poprad is name of town where I lived -it is near mountains, thats why I love everything green and connected with nature.

My story from Czech republic: After finishing hight school I decided move to Czech republic. I started study at BUT (Brno University of Technology). Brno is the biggest city in Moravian region (south of Czech). It is perfect for student life with really nice and kind people everywhere. I ve been living there for 3 years, finished my bachelor and realised, I need to see MORE! :)

My story from Norway: I would call it best decision of my life. I went to Trondheim for half of the year to study at NTNU. It opened my eyes and Norway became the country where I can imagine live for some period of my life. I discovered myself, got new experiences, saw many beautiful places,... You cant imagine how much I miss it :)

My story from Slovenia: Well, after Norway I cant come directly to Czech to finish my master so I decided to apply for next Erasmus to Slovenia :) ..to be continued..

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

You wanna meet people from all around the world? You wanna do something good for people? (karma is for free) -do couchsurfing.

I like travelling and trying to get along with local people. I think, the best way how to get to know culture and new place is meet people who live there. Couchsurfing offers this possibility and whole idea, not only about offering bed, but being host and friend is perfect.

Moving out from Home to study in different country- because it opened life full of possibilities.On one hand it gave me freedom, independency, on the other hand it taught me how to care about myself and how to 'survive' :)
