I am a kind, respectful New Yorker who finally made my way out to California. I travel all of the east side of the country attending music festivals regularly, where i trade/sell my art, perform shows with/without fire, and most importantly heal my soul. I have worked the scenes/behind the scenes at music festivals for years (performing, vending, food vending, security, stage crew, garbage clean up, ticketing), as well as countless hours of volunteer work. I am a 6 year flow artist/ fire performer and am extremely intrigued by the technical motions our body creates with endless possibilities of props and movement. I love to express myself in the form of dance/movement, especially including fire. I am a seamstress and make applique patches, that support me and allow me to exchange love and art with those my path my cross. I have been sewing for about 5 years and love sharing/ learning as much as I can of the art. I can operate a sewing machine and make clothing/ patchwork. I graduated from a community college on Long Island with an associates degree, and was accepted to Stony Brook University to complete their Sustainability Studies program, but I am currently taking a break from schooling to travel and learn, and be sure that that path is the one that is right for my soul. I love plants and focused on them in junior college. I love to garden as well as farm. I know how to get my hands dirty and love the earth. I love animals, beaches, intelligent conversation, banter, smiles, heckling, loving and dreaming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently on the West coast, in Los Angeles for the first time with nothing but a backpack. I plan to meet my good friend in Oregon, but cant find it in myself to fly over the most beautiful parts of this state, so my goal here is to be able to travel small distances, to find myself able to truly take in and appreciate what it is i am here to do. I want to learn, share, experience, take in, let out and love as much as I can on this journey.
