I live in Warsaw, Poland and I like it here. Another thing (among many others) I like, is traveling on a bicycle or motorbike. Due to lack of time (and other excuses) I do not travel often, but still, I find it fun.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

While visiting a new country I want to meet new people who live in it, and thanks to that, get to know and understand the country better. And probably the main reason I'm here is that, most of my trips never came past planning stage. So signing up here, is some kind of step forward for me, even if a little one.

兴趣

My family for sure : wife Asia (common Polish nickname for Joanna, no my wife is not named after a continent, but some Asians were puzzled when she worked in a shop once), and great kid Franek.

Then technical stuff, which I also do for living. That would be programming computers, making (not to advanced) electronics, sharing this with the Open Source community (http://github.com/iwasz, http://hackaday.io/iwasz).

And riding a motorcycle. Not motorcycles itself, but riding them. That means moto-gymkhana, track race training and of course motorcycle trips.

音乐、电影和书籍

I like electronic music, jazz and rock (in that order). My all time favorite is Boards Of Canada (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQEmaj9C6ko), and when I was younger my favorite band was The Cinematic Orchestra. I listen to tons of various artists and always look for something new. So usually I don't play whole albums, but random tracks from YT, or (earlier) last.fm. As for the movies, my all time no1 is "Man with a movie camera" with The Cinematic Orchestra soundtrack (it's a silent documentary http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0019760/). Oh, and I love SF movies. Favorite writer : Stanislaw Lem (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanis%C5%82aw_Lem).
