I've just started my journey in Europe and I met a lot of people who have done couchsurfing. I've received good comments about this web site and nice experiences.

If you go to Rome, don't pay attention to street sellers! You can buy the same things in a market for a better price.
Don't cross the street if the light is red at least you want to pay around €500 penalty fee.
Don't eat kebab in a train station!
