Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to share meals, drinks, and stories with people from around the world. I believe that I become a better person the more people I connect with who are different than myself. I love building bridges, laughing together, and sharing a common adventure.

I'm excited about couch surfing because it offers a way for me to travel independently, explore more of the world with less funds, and connect with people.

Interests

Language & Culture: A huge part of my travels is to increase my Spanish language abilities to more advanced conversation. My other main focus is to learn from locals all about their culture and the stories of their homeland.

Volunteering: I have volunteered internationally over many trips, normally working with kids. For work in the US, I worked for the YMCA providing programs to youth and kids to better themselves educationally, physically, spiritually, and mentally. In all the places I visit, I hope to find a place or organization to volunteer.

Food & Drink: I love experiencing new foods and drinks. I believe that you build the strongest friendships while breaking bread and drinking together. The food and drink of a city or place tells so much about the people and culture... I would love to experience your favorite place to eat!

Beaches: Being near a body of water brings my soul peace... I feel at home and like my truest self. Throughout my travels, getting to experience a body of water in a new place makes me feel at home.
