Hi, I am João, a 24 year old portuguese guy who comes from a town nearby Lisbon. I am from a small country in this big world, and my big interest is to know more about what's ahead.

I emigrated from my country and I am currently working in Germany as a PhD. No matter which direction I take, there's a new country nearby, and I'd say there is always time for a sponteaneous trip, for a crazy adventure and for meeting other people.

For all of those I'd use my time for. Time to take a look upon what's around here!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Making new friends, breaking the barriers, giving a little about my culture, that's worth the experience. Besides, it's a good opportunity to practise foreign languages with other people.
