Overview
About Me
Hey! My name is Heli and I'm currently a student at SciencesPo in Dijon, France. I'm Estonian but I also speak French and English (and I'm studying Russian and German) - languages and travelling are some of my greatest passions :) I love theatre and people who are sarcastic, but kind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think tips from locals are the best travelling book anyone could have.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have one specific favorite in any of those. At the moment, I'm listening to Paolo Nutini and Hozier a lot and the last movie I really enjoyed was "Dieu existe, il habite à Bruxelles" ("God exists, he lives in Brussels"). My favorite book series is Harry Potter, but I really like books by Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, Mihhail Bulgakov, Erich Maria Remarque and Henrik Ibsen's plays.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've written a 50-page research paper on the differences of depicting male characters in the works of male and female fairy tale authors from the 17th century France. It was a lot more interesting than it sounds :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you (and I'd really like to!) something about Estonia and its culture - show you videos of the Song Festival or talk about the innovation and e-state.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A room to stay in, dinner and a guided tour of the city, company if you wish to spend time together.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Serbia, Sweden
Countries I’ve Lived In
