About Me

I'm a free-spirited and adventurous Mexican girl that is passionate about life and that has made Australia her second home for the last 8 years. I love discovering the world, learning about other cultures, meeting people, learning from them and living unique experiences. 🌎🇲🇽🇦🇺

I've travelled a fair bit, 37 countries and counting. Couch surfing has given me amazing experiences and friends all over the world, I believe in the power of community that this app offers. Now I'm happily hosting guests that share the same view on this app.

A bit more of me:

In 2015, I moved out from Mexico to pursue my dream of studying a master's abroad. That dream took me to Madrid, Spain for one year and then I won a scholarship to finish my master's as an international exchange student in Melbourne, Australia and still here I am 8 years later and loving it! 🦘💚

I work in Marketing and Communications in a small non-profit promoting for people to be more active in the outdoors -which connects a lot with my passions, I'm super outdoorsy.💚

I'm sure you must have as many adventures as I do, let's discover our stories and create more of our own!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Get to know great people and cultures from all over the world!! Make new friends, share experiences, ideas, moments because that's what I think life is made of :)

I'm always willing to help people with travel tips, giving them a tour in the city, or to meet up.

Interests

A bit about what I love:
-Hikes, sunsets, camping, BBQs by the beach and any other outdoor activity.
-Sports: trail running, beach volleyball and rock climbing are some of my favs.
-Yoga, meditation & wellness
-Family and friends time. I value a lot the connection with my loved ones.
-Music, videogames and watching some nice series or documentaries
-Sustainability, permaculture, sustainable living, eco-building

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music genres are alternative, indie and fusion music. I love music in most of its expressions. I also dance traditional folklore Mexican dance. 💃

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think every day has amazing moments but some of them could be living on a permaculture farm in the jungle for a while, doing el Camino de Santiago in Spain twice (part of the French Route and the Portuguese route from Porto),
climbing to the top of Mt. Ngauruhoe Volcano in NZ -aka Mt Doom-, skydiving in Melbourne, scuba diving in the great barrier reef and going to the top of a glacier on a helicopter :)
