Hey there!
I am Wiebke. I´ve moved to Regensburg in October 2017 to study medicine. The year before I volunteered in an ambulance for a year and got in touch with a lot of different people.
I like to see a lot of Germany (I come from the North, lived for a year in the middle and now I´m in the South) and the world. In the future I´m planning to travel a lot and work in different countrys. I’ve already volunteered in a hospital in Arusha, Tanzania. It was a great experience to see how the people in other countries work.
I often visit friends around Germany, Europe and the world. Maybe the next time I will visit you ^^
I love it to travel with friends or alone. Solo-travelling is a special kind of experience, but I like it!
Regensburg is a beautiful city, I´m not from Bavaria, so I can´t teach you bavarian culture, but I can show you the wonderful Old City of Regensburg!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love it to meet new people from different countries and to share my interests with you. I´d like to experince new crazy things with people from all over the world!
Couchsurfing makes Solo travelling easier for me, so you can get in touch with new people in an easy way.

Interests

I have played handball for thirteen years and I really love this kind of sports. But sometimes you have to try something new and so I’m playing Ultimate Frisbee now. It’s not that popular in Germany, but it’s totally fun! Except from that I like meeting friends, traveling and listening to (rock) music in concerts or festivals!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is rock music. I like it to go to concerts or festivals!
My favourite band ist Royal Republic, but I love German music, too. For example Kraftklub, Seeed or K.I.Z.
I visited the Hurricane and Open Flair Festival and I totally enjoyed it!
I don’t often watch series, but I have a favorite one: I’m a really big fan of Sherlock, I know every episode! :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first rock concert. It was a concert with Royal Republic in Amsterdam, I visited it with my cousin and my grandma!
