My name is Anna Luz, I'm a 27 year old artist and designer from France, currently living in Brussels.

I am a curious, calm, nice person and I am still willing to know couch surfers and show them around.
I went to Chile in 2015 to find myself and I travelled through South America only staying with couchsurfers and I just loved it. This experience boosted my confidence and made me the adult that I am now, truly believing in the goodness in people.

This year, I'm embarking on an interrail journey to the north of Greece to host a residency for three weeks.
I'm passing by Germany, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria. This trip through the balkans is my chance to have this growing experience again, in this turning point of my adult life.

I will be researching plants and how they can be transformed into food, materials and colors, and I will be making a herbarium all along my journey. So if you know something about your local plants, I would love to chat about that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had the chance to be hosted in a family of editors in Chile and then living in a shared house with young people and I really got to approach new cultures through staying with locals and sharing interests, ideas and projects with them.

I was travelling alone in South America and I really appreciated a bit of talking and company! And I must say that I am always very curious to see what the interiors look like in different places, how people live, what they eat : I think couch surfing is the perfect way for that. It's just so different than travelling through tourist hotspots. Priceless!

Interests

I am interested in ecology, plants, social innovation and projects that change the way we produce, think or destroy things. I like making my clothes, gardening, reading books, cooking cheesecakes and walking around.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach a bit of French, a bit of English or Spanish too, I have already done it with kids and adults. I know how to use a sewing machine and adobe softwares so I may be able to help you with a project ! I'll be happy to cook french and Irish food and share my recipes with you.
