I was born and raised in Malaysia, and currently, I am studying in the United States. I have been to several states on the West coast and planning to visit Georgia and Florida during this coming Winter!

Something about me: I am kinda a laid back person, haha! I am motivated to learn because knowledge solves problems, which helps to save more time for me to chill. In other words, I am learning and working hard to be lazy. Erm ... Sounds contradictory, but isn't dealing with contradictions the fun part of life?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First reason, my friend told me the experience of using CS to meet people is indescribable.

Second reason, at this point, I am still figuring my life goal. I would like to ask people from all walks of life regarding what values and goals have guided them until this point of their life. If a choice is given, would they still hold to those values? Would you?

Third reason, I like to travel to experience different cultures ... so that I can compare which culture is more laid back and suits me the best! As I said, I am motivated to find ways to be laid back. I think the best way to learn a local culture is to learn from the locals :D

English Music:

Movies:
I like movies with logical plot twists or movies that require deep thinking. One rule of thumb, movies that can blow my mind. Examples: Three Idiots, The Shawshank Redemption, Slumdog Millionaire, V for Vendetta, Shutter Island, Spirited Away, Your Name, Internal Affair, Let the Bullets Fly, Batman: The Dark Knight ("Why~ So~ Serious~?" is my most favorite quote).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Solo trip from Oregon to San Francisco, San Jose, and Los Angelas.
- Traveled in New York City while I was supposed to stay in a conference, haha
- Skydiving!!!
