Hello everyone,

I'm Robin, 37 years old and i live in the Netherlands, close to Amsterdam.
I love to travel and to meet new people. Sometimes i volunteer and i really like it because that way you meet a lot of new people.

The next thing i want to do is travel International (to another continent).
Countries such as Spain and Portugal i've been to a lot but now it's time to go to Asia for example, which i'm planning to do in the near future.

I'm a spiritual guy who is down to earth and open minded and who knows the world and has a heart for good people. I'm seriously easy going, in for a joke and can be calm and assertive but also enthousiastic and outgoing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and explore the best parts of a country and learn from different people and share thoughts about this world.

I want to meet people who are also aware about our earth and who cherish all life on this planet.

There are a lot of people whom i normally won't meet and i think that's a missed opportunity, so with couchsurfing i can meet new people with different ideas and at the same time save money and see as much places as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite artist was Eminem, been to a couple of his concerts and am a fan since i was twelve. Really like his style and the feeling he puts into his music, such a talent!

I also listen to Lana del Rey, Lorde, Gotye, Rihanna, Beyonce. Echosmith, Galantis, Kygo and Major Lazer. I listen to Omi, Hozier, 50 cent and The Avener.
Coldplay, Zucchero, Dire Straits, Kendrick Lamar...
I can keep this going for a while actually, i really love music from every genre :)

My favorite movies... Well i think i've seen over 3000 American movies and if i have to pick some from these, i'd say Lord of the Rings trilogy hands down.
But the funny thing is i've seen a couple of bollywood movies and i must say,
3 Idiots and Like stars on earth (taare zameen par) both with Aamir Khan as the leading star are my favorite movies all time. If you haven't seen them, you really should!!

Fav books are:
The Bible, Everything from Joe Dispenza, Voyagers, Bruce Lipton, The inner man and much more.

Favo Games (they're not asking for it but I'll say them anyway):
the legend of zelda, bioshock, skyrim, the last of us, destiny, super smash brothers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer work at a holiday centre for children with special needs. One of the best experiences of my life.
