Overview
About Me
I love adventures and travelling, seeing other cultures and learning about them. Wherever I go I do as the locals! I hate to be 'touristy' I always want to see the 'inside' of each place, I always walk whenever possible instead of using public transport etc so I can see more, cute local places, hidden-away streets etc....I'm also an interior designer (amongst other things) and I have a real passion for architecture so I always take loads of pictures of streets and buildings wherever I go....
I am currently conducting a PhD research based at the Institute for Global Prosperity, within the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL in London. However, at the moment I am a visiting researcher at AUB in Beirut and will also conduct fieldwork for my PhD.
I love reading (I have an unhealthy affection to books and so I can't stop getting more and more..), arts, watching good movies, sports (muay thai, TRX, crossfit), socializing, meeting interesting people and learn from them and their stories!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to meet and talk to people from different places, have interesting conversations and hopefully learn about their cultural heritage and traditions from them, as opposed to reading up on it in travel books/blogs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of different kind of music ranging from jazz, folk, eletronic, 70's, 80's...
I usually prefer underground and artsy movies
I have read an amazing amount of books....my all-time favourites are ones of Murakami Haruki and Salman Rushdie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Decided to give up my interior architect job a dive deep into the unknown!
I applied and got in to 8 universities and basically decided in a week to pack up my London life and move to Glasgow! I've never even been to Scotland...but I think this was one of the best decisions I ever made, to follow my heart and dreams!
So I highly recommend to everyone, if something doesn't feel like the 'real deal' it is never too late to completely change your life :)
