I'm a registered nurse. My background is Emergency Department, Trauma, and detox.
I'm also a mom to 4 boys ages 11-4. Two of my kids have Asperger syndrome/HFA, so I'm very passionate about autism education and awareness.
I love to travel with my kids and to get away with just adults as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just heard about it. It was referred to me by a friend who knows I love to travel. I'm interested in social networking. Always looking to meet new people who may enjoy travels, cycling, hiking, etc. together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music. My favorite artists are Tori Amos, Van Morrison, M83, Snow Patrol and I also like a variety of country.
Favorite movies would be Star Wars (all of them), The Notebook, Pitch Perfect, Hangover, and any Adam Sandler movie.
Favorite books: recently I've read Wild, loved it. Also love Divergent, Hunger Games and Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials." However, most books I read are nonfiction, reference, self-help, or medical.
